{"id":11,"date":"2025-10-28T15:23:57","date_gmt":"2025-10-28T15:23:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/alexandrecavaliere.com\/?page_id=11"},"modified":"2025-11-20T08:36:18","modified_gmt":"2025-11-20T08:36:18","slug":"bio","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/alexandrecavaliere.com\/en\/bio","title":{"rendered":"Bio"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"translation-block\"><span style=\"color:#000000\">\nBorn in 1985 near Mons into a family of musicians,<\/span> <strong>Alexandre Cavaliere<\/strong> <span style=\"color:#000000\">grew up surrounded by swing and Gypsy jazz.<br>\nFrom a very young age, he played alongside his father, with whom he would share the stage until 2023.<br>\nAt the age of 11, he was noticed by Didier Lockwood and Babik Reinhardt, who invited him to the Django d\u2019Or ceremonies in Brussels and Paris.<br>\nThis early spotlight marked the beginning of a unique journey: Alexandre recorded his first album at the age of 12 and quickly established himself as one of the rising talents of jazz violin.\n<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\"><span style=\"color:#000000\">\nOver the years, he multiplied decisive musical encounters.<br>\nWith Dorado Schmitt, he discovered the international scene: Birdland in New York, a U.S. tour, the Half Note in Athens, concerts in Italy\u2026<br>\nLater, his collaboration with Fabrizio Cassol and the musicians of Aka Moon opened his playing to modern and experimental influences.\n<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\"><span style=\"color:#000000\">\nAlexandre has performed at prestigious venues and festivals such as SFJAZZ (San Francisco), Nancy Jazz Pulsations,<br>\nthe Django Reinhardt Festival in Fontainebleau, Jazz Middelheim as a guest of Philip Catherine, Salle Pleyel (Paris),<br>\nthe Cirque Royal (Brussels), the Django Festival in Noum\u00e9a (New Caledonia), and the April Jazz Festival (Finland).\n<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\"><span style=\"color:#000000\">\nHe has shared the stage with major figures in jazz and Gypsy jazz, including Bireli Lagr\u00e8ne, Toots Thielemans, Philip Catherine,<br>\nStochelo Rosenberg, Dorado Schmitt, and Fabrizio Cassol.<br>\nThese encounters nourish a style that blends swing, contemporary jazz, and world music.\n<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\"><span style=\"color:#000000\">\nAn inventive bandleader, Alexandre develops several personal projects:<br>\nthe <em>Manouche Moderne<\/em> Quintet, the <em>Tribute to Didier Lockwood<\/em>, his duo with guitarist Adrien Brogna exploring jazz and world music,<br>\nand a new quartet currently in preparation for his upcoming album.<br>\nEach of these projects reflects his desire to combine the tradition that shaped him with a constant search for openness and musical evolution.\n<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\"><span style=\"color:#000000\">\nSince 2018, Alexandre has been endorsed by luthier <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fabiengram.fr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Fabien Gram<\/a><span style=\"color:#000000\">,<br>\nwhose exceptional violins allow him to perform at his full potential.<br>\nThis collaboration, built on trust and high standards, has become an integral part of his sonic identity.<br>\nSince 2019, he has been represented by the agency <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/sceneoff.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Scene Off<\/a><span style=\"color:#000000\"> (Michel Schoonbroodt &amp;
